SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – The Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra (SCSO) is bringing the magic of Broadway to life in Sacramento with a dazzling performance of beloved musical theater classics. Set to take place on Saturday, May 3, at 3 p.m., door opening at 2 p.m. at the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center, this matinee concert will showcase the legendary works of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe—the songwriting duo behind My Fair Lady, Camelot, Gigi, Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon, and more.

This extraordinary performance will feature the Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra, showcasing a 120-member choral ensemble, a full professional orchestra, and three renowned soloists, all under the direction of Dr. Donald Kendrick. This afternoon will be a celebration of Lerner & Loewe’s most cherished works, brought to life in a thrilling rendition that includes selections from My Fair Lady, Camelot, Gigi, Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon, and more. The performance will feature iconic show-stopping numbers like I Could Have Danced All Night, Almost Like Being in Love, Gigi, Camelot, They Call the Wind Maria, and many others.
